Via Roma in Vernazza - the upper main street from the train station
The tiny train platform is nestled between two tunnels. Most of the train cars are still in the tunnels when the train stops.
A view of our apartment's veranda - just above the laundry. Even though we overlooked Via Roma, the entrance was on the backside of the building on Via M. Carattino. Turn left at the Farmacia* and follow the steps and walkways towards Corniglia.

First stop: lunch at Ristorante Gianni Franzi
Vernazza - it's not just a tourist town.
NOT penne pasta...
Fishing boats occupy the piazza by the harbour
Time to head out to the breakwater for some pictures
Monterosso in the distance
If I climb out on those rocks, I should get a better view of Vernazza
