First stop on Tuesday - Piton de la Fournaise.
We hoped to see a view of la Fournaise in a lively mood like this.
Instead, we saw nothing.
Tuesday morning - no hiking to the volcano due to heavy fog.
Just another cloudy view. This one is from the Nez de Boeuf overlook near du Volcan.
Finally, a good view - Grand Bassin.

The time-flow clock is about as accurate as a $25 digital watch.
Tuesday's lunch spot in St. Pierre - a great find that helped to turn around the day.
Our first real meal on the island - Lord Steack with frites and mayonsaisse.
Vance loves him some Lords!
Gonna get a good Dodo Beer buzz on tonight.
The reason for the trip.

Another view after I cleaned the raindrops off my camera lens.
And this little piggy said "oui oui oui!" all the way home.
